A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Poulin Antique & Auctions in Fairfield, Maine - One of the top leading auction houses in North America is currently seeking applicants for a Full-Time Janitorial/Operations Position This position is primarily janitorial duties of our facilities as well as support to our operations team to include these qualifications needed to apply: Janitorial duties - maintaining the cleanliness of all bathrooms as well as all offices and public areas of our buildings inside and out. Be reliable and report to work on time daily. Must work well with others within a team atmosphere. Have a great work ethic. Have the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time. Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Load and unload trucks. Move inventory from one department/building to another. Have strong organizational and prioritizing skills. Have the ability to multi task. Pack items up for shipping. Have no problems working independently. Full Time 9-5 with overtime as needed. Overtime and weekend work expected/required during auction and auction catalog production times. If you meet the above requirements we encourage you to apply.
