A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Part-time Overview:
This position will work under the direction of the Facility Director to ensure overall cleanliness and upkeep of our YMCA facility.Schedule:
Saturdays & Sundays:
12:00PM-6:00PM. Shifts and hours are subject to change.Location:

Qualifications:
1-3 years of relevant experience. Ability to follow schedules and deadlines to meet the needs of various YMCA programs. Ability to follow written instructions in the absence of direct supervision. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service. Extremely reliable, dependable, and punctual; can work independently and within a team. Sound decision-making skills; ability to take initiative and be self-motivated. Capable of performing basic math calculations, including fractions and decimals. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Possess basic computer skills including email and the internet. A criminal background check is required. The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.Benefits:
