Job Description

The Town of Gray is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our Facilities & Parks team as a full-time Custodian . This position plays a key role in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming Town buildings and outdoor facilities, helping ensure they reflect pride in our community. What You'll Do Perform general cleaning of Town buildings, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of exterior areas around Town facilities Complete seasonal floor maintenance and assist with facility upkeep projects Follow established custodial and building maintenance practices and procedures Work independently to complete assigned tasks and respond to facility needs as they arise Assist with additional maintenance or operational tasks as needed
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) At least two (2) years of custodial or related experience preferred Valid Maine driver's license Ability to work independently and follow directions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including lifting, standing, walking, and working in various environment (See full requirements listed in the job description.)
