What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Looking for a part-time cleaning position for work during the day? We have an opening for a custodian to do office cleaning for a State of Maine facility in the Norway Maine. Basic office cleaning task include cleaning bathroom, vacuuming, dusting, removal of trash sweeping, etc. Shift is 1 day a week approx. 3 -4 hours.. Rate of pay will depend on experience and dependability. A clearance process before being hired is required.
