We are currently seeking energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Lead Custodian at the Acadia Gateway Center in Trenton, Maine. The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills to lead a team of custodians working at the center. The custodians are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, trash receptacles and public areas.

Custodians will:

Perform general clean-up of all areas of the building as directed. Manage routine upkeep amd ensure the cleanliness of common areas, office spaces and bathrooms. Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests Ensure bathrooms are maintained and fully stocked

Qualifications:

1+ years janitorial/custodian experience preferred Skills to lead and manage personnel Willingness to work early morning or late-night shifts Ability to work well under minimal supervision Capacity to take direction Strong attention to detail Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds as necessary
