What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Responsibilities include:
Cleaning and sanitizing offices, commercial buildings, and common areas Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting Cleaning restrooms and restocking supplies Emptying trash and replacing liners Following company cleaning procedures and safety guidelines Maintaining a professional appearance and providing excellent customer serviceQualifications:
