Duties Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, including desks, floors, windows, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals Handle custodial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to ensure hygiene standards are met Operate floor buffers and other floor care machinery to maintain polished and safe flooring throughout the facility Follow safety protocols for chemical handling, manual handling, and heavy lifting to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations Conduct routine maintenance tasks like minor repairs or reporting larger issues to facilities management for prompt resolution Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by disinfecting fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed Support additional facilities maintenance activities such as painting touch-ups or industrial cleaning as needed to uphold the overall appearance and safety of the premises Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or office environment with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols Ability to handle chemical agents safely following established safety procedures for chemical handling safety procedures Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and industrial cleaning tools Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a hygienic workspace Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward colleagues and visitors alike Basic facilities maintenance skills; experience with residential painting or industrial cleaning is a plus but not required Join us in creating a clean, safe, and inviting environment where everyone can thrive!
