Day Porter and Maintenance Position Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Day Porter and Maintenance professional to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of our facilities. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, maintaining sanitation standards, caring for floors, and handling general facilities maintenance to create a clean and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors. • 2:30pm Responsibilities These positions require light maintenance, lawn work, snow removal, etc.

. Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness throughout the premises. Manage sanitation tasks to ensure health standards are met, including disinfecting high-touch surfaces and restrooms. Conduct floor care activities such as stripping, waxing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality. Maintain equipment used for cleaning and facility upkeep, ensuring they are in good working condition. Address minor maintenance issues around the facility, including light repairs or reporting larger problems to appropriate personnel. Monitor the cleanliness of common areas, hallways, restrooms, and entryways to uphold a professional appearance. Assist with set-up and breakdown for events or special functions as needed. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Skills Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed. Proven experience in custodial work or facilities maintenance. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and floor care techniques. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks efficiently and thoroughly. Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily tasks. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of quality. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills for reporting maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly. What You Bring to the

High School Diploma or equivalent.
