Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.
Monday through Friday, between the hours of 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM Clean Team is actively seeking a dependable and dedicated Part-Time Evening Janitorial Cleaner to maintain facility standards across commercial properties in Bridgeport, MI. This role provides a steady second-shift schedule, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals looking for supplemental evening income or starting a career in the commercial cleaning industry. In this position, you will execute essential cleaning routines to ensure facilities remain sanitized, professional, and welcoming for occupants and visitors. You will operate independently while following established checklists, requiring strong self-motivation, consistency, and efficient time management.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily janitorial services across assigned office buildings and commercial spaces. Disinfect restrooms, break areas, and frequently handled surfaces (door handles, light switches, counters). Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and address spot cleaning as needed. Gather trash, replace garbage liners, and dispose of waste in exterior dumpsters. Monitor and replenish sanitation inventory including hand soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue. Adhere strictly to company safety standards, chemical handling protocols, and property security procedures. Communicate inventory needs and report facility damage or maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum age requirement: 18 years old. Must possess valid, reliable personal transportation to travel to the assigned facility. Ability to work effectively without direct supervision. Excellent attention to detail and ability to complete assigned checklists within designated shift hours. Physical capacity to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 35 lbs throughout a 5-hour shift. Previous experience in custodial work, commercial cleaning, or facility maintenance is preferred, though not required.
