Position:

Houghton County Memorial Airport is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual for a permanent part-time janitorial role. This position is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming terminal environment for travelers, staff, and visitors.

Primary Duties:

Clean and sanitize restrooms, floors, lobbies, and waiting areas Disinfect high-touch surfaces (door handles, counters, seating) Empty trash, restock restroom supplies, and general facility upkeep Clean windows and glass doors Monitor and replace lighting as needed Track janitorial supply inventory and notify supervisor when restocking is required Report maintenance or safety concerns to the

Airport Manager Cross-Training:

This position will be cross-trained in Grounds Maintenance to support tasks such as snow removal, lawn care, and minor outdoor upkeep as needed.

Schedule:

Includes rotating weekend shifts; weekend availability required.

Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Self‑motivated and able to work independently Must pass a background check for access to restricted airport areas
