Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Custodian Monday - Friday | 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to support evening cleaning operations at a professional medical facility in the Clinton Township area near the Harrington Street corridor. This position is focused on maintaining a clean, organized, and professional healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, comfortable working in a medical setting, and able to complete assigned cleaning duties with consistency and attention to detail. Responsibilities Perform routine custodial duties throughout assigned areas of the facility Vacuum offices, hallways, common areas, and shared spaces using a backpack vacuum Maintain cleanliness throughout entrances, workspaces, and assigned areas Follow cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and healthcare facility expectations Report any facility concerns, supply needs, or equipment issues to management Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for staff, patients, visitors, and building occupants Requirements Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred Ability to wear and use a backpack vacuum during the shift Must be comfortable working in a medical facility Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic Ability to work independently and stay on task Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift Professional and respectful communication with staff, patients, visitors, and building occupants Pay $15 - $16 per hour
