Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors, carpets, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals. Handle floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained. Operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, polishers, and carpet cleaners efficiently and safely. Manage chemical agent handling with attention to safety protocols for floor cleaning chemicals and other custodial supplies. Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of equipment or supplies while adhering to proper ergonomic practices. Maintain cleanliness standards by performing detailed cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas. Support environmental services initiatives by following eco-friendly cleaning procedures and waste disposal practices. Assist with floor care projects including floor refinishing and waxing to prolong the lifespan of flooring surfaces. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and ensuring their satisfaction with cleaning services. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with knowledge of janitorial best practices Familiarity with cleaning equipment including commercial mops, vacuums, and other janitorial tools. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while understanding proper usage of cleaning chemicals. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely during routine tasks (Garbage). Excellent attention to detail ensuring high standards of cleanliness across all areas. Customer service orientation with effective communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members. Knowledge of environmental services principles emphasizing eco-friendly cleaning methods and waste management practices.
