A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Come join the Nawa family! School custodian, janitor - START ASAP! Nawa Professional Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian/Janitor to join our team in the Delton area! We have full-time opportunities in a school setting and an immediate start.

Full Time opening:

Monday -

Friday:

6:30am-3:00pm with occasional weekend work (for set up and tear down of events)

Pay Rate:

$15

Responsibilities:

Vacuuming Mopping Dusting Cleaning restrooms Removing trash Operating a floor scrubber or similar floor cleaning equipment As well as other cleaning tasks as assigned

Requirements:

Reliable transportation. Ability to pass a background check with no prior or pending charges Ability to pass a drug test that includes testing for THC Willing to submit fingerprints for working in a school environment 18 years of age or older with valid ID Ability to work efficiently while upholding company's quality standards Maintain effective communication with supervisors/managers and other team members Benefits of joining our team: Unpaid Time Off (to be used like vacation) Holiday Pay Opportunities for advancement / promotion Merit based pay increases $300 Referral bonuses for qualified candidates.
