A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for motivated, team-building individuals to fill a Full Time Custodial Services Worker. $17.00 an hour.

First Shift hours: Monday - Friday 5:30am-2:00pm ______________________________________________________________________________________ Essential duties and responsibilities: Safely operate power equipment for custodial maintenance. Keep store, plant, offices clean and all trash removed as needed. Assist in keeping aisles free and clear of hazards. Assist in training employees on cleaning practices as directed by the Supervisor. Ensure safety protocol is followed and safety equipment is properly used. Benefits ? Previous buffing and waxing experience highly desirable. This is a physical job requiring good mobility, and the ability to stand and walk, climb, bend, kneel, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
