What they do

A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
Construction Cleaning Sweeping/ Mopping/ Wiping/ Vacuuming/ Running Floor Scrubber/ Etc. It isn't heavy work; however, it is physical work. We clean top to bottom.
Must be able to:
Work on hands & knees Use at least a 4' step ladder
DRESS CODE/ REQUIRED EVERYDAY YOU COME TO WORK
PPE - Hard Hat (Need to provide your own hard hat) Hard Hats can be purchased at any home improvement store (Menards, Home Depot, Lowes). Pants - Jeans or Work pants with 'NO
HOLES OR
SAGGING'! Pants must cover down to the top of the steel toed work boot. No capris/ sweat pants/ leggings/ shorts/ etc. Shirt -T-Shirt with 'NO
HOLES OR OFFENSIVE
PRINT'! Must have at least a 3/4 sleeve. No tank tops/ spaghetti straps/ etc. Footwear -Steel Toed or composite toed boots. No tennis shoes or open toed footwear.
GENERAL COMPANY POLICIES
CELL PHONES -No cell phone use during 'Work Hours'. Phones can be used on 'Personal Hours' (break & lunch time). If cell phones are abused, they will band on site during work hours.
SMOKING/ VAPING
-You will need to ask supervisor what the smoking protocol is for each job site. No smoking/ vaping during 'Working Hours' or in company vehicles. BREAKS -Need to come to work prepared with enough food and drink to get you through a work day. No leaving the job site on break times - No food deliveries #INDRDS
