Job Description
Job Summary:
Camp Tanuga is seeking a part time seasonal dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. The role involves cleaning and stocking various bathrooms, including cabin bathrooms, bath houses, and common areas, ensuring a pleasant and sanitary environment for campers and staff. This job is seasonal from mid-April through September.Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning Duties:
- Clean and sanitize approximately 22 cabin bathrooms, ensuring all fixtures are spotless and hygienic.
- Maintain cleanliness of two bath houses:
- Bath House 1: Clean and sanitize 10 showers, sinks, 5 toilets, and 3 urinals.
- Bath House 2: Clean and sanitize 3 showers, toilets, and sinks.
- Regularly clean common areas and facilities as needed.
- When requested, clean and maintain the eight-unit lodge, ensuring all common areas, hallways, and bathroom areas are tidy and presentable. Most of the time bedding will need to be changed when new guests book the lodge.
Stocking and Supplies:
- Restock supplies in all bathrooms, including toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
- Ensure that cleaning supplies are organized and readily available for use.
Waste Management:
- Empty garbage bins in all bathrooms and common areas, ensuring proper disposal of waste.
Schedule:
- Perform cleaning tasks at least three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).
- Start cleaning duties in the morning to ensure facilities are prepared for daily camp activities.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with camp staff.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Pay:
$15.00- $25.
