Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Grow Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facility in addition to helping with destruction of plant waste and other related tasks. This is an important role for ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our plants, employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and waste destruction/removal.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
• Perform floor care duties of sweeping, mopping & sanitizing
• Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to yourself, others and equipment
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
• Help as needed with harvesting, bucking & trimming as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning
• Experience cleaning a commercial grow preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects if required
