Job Overview We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Office Cleaner to help us keep our clinic spotless, safe, and running smoothly. At Capital Area Pulmonary Associates , a clean environment is everything for our patients and clinical team. This is a flexible part-time position (6-9 hours a week) that's a great fit for college students or anyone looking to earn extra income around classes or another job. Duties Clean and sanitize exam rooms, waiting areas, front desk, offices, and staff breakrooms using medical-grade supplies. Take out trash, replace liners, and move sealed biohazard/sharps containers to designated storage areas following basic safety rules. Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces like exam tables, chairs, door handles, counters, and light switches. Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms with soap, paper towels, and hand sanitizer. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the office. Keep an eye on cleaning supplies and let us know when stock is running low. Qualifications Open to college students and entry-level applicants! (Prior cleaning or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required—we'll train you). Honest, reliable, and comfortable working independently off-hours. High attention to detail and respect for patient privacy (HIPAA rules). Able to safely handle standard cleaning products and handle light physical work (standing, bending, lifting trash/mops). Must pass a standard background check before starting.
