Day Porter \ Custodian Monday - Friday | 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Saber Building Services is excited to welcome a dependable Day Porter / Custodian to our team at an automotive facility near the Lewis Drive corridor in Novi. This is a high-profile, integral position for both the building and our cleaning operation, making it a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in being a visible and reliable part of the workplace. Because this role works throughout the facility while it is actively occupied, the Day Porter / Custodian will help keep the building clean, safe, and professional throughout the day. We are looking for someone who is attentive, approachable, dependable, and ready to respond when cleaning needs arise. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, common areas, entrances, and other assigned spaces Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform routine custodial cleaning Sweep, mop, vacuum, and address spills or immediate cleaning needs Monitor high-traffic areas and respond to cleaning requests throughout the shift Communicate facility, supply, or service concerns to management Requirements Dependable and consistent attendance Strong communication skills and a professional approach Ability to work comfortably in an active, occupied facility Ability to work independently and respond to changing priorities Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform routine physical custodial tasks

Pay:

$17 - $18 per hour
