Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques. Handle chemical cleaning agents safely, adhering to proper chemical handling protocols and infection control standards. Conduct pressure washing and other specialized cleaning tasks to maintain exterior surfaces and heavy-duty areas. Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly during all cleaning activities to ensure safety and sanitation compliance. Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, or stripping as required for different surfaces. Assist with custodial responsibilities such as trash removal, sanitation of high-touch surfaces, and restocking supplies to ensure continuous facility hygiene. Skills Proven janitorial experience with knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures and equipment operation. Skilled in window cleaning, floor care techniques, and sanitation practices to uphold high cleanliness standards. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of infection control protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with staff and visitors when needed. Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
