  • 8:30 pm Saber Building Services is excited to welcome a dependable Custodian to our team at an active healthcare facility near the West Ann Arbor Trail corridor in Plymouth.
This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining clean floors, and is comfortable working around staff, patients, and visitors. This role focuses primarily on floor care throughout the facility, including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping. The Custodian will work independently while helping maintain a clean, safe, and professional medical environment. Responsibilities Vacuum carpeted areas using a backpack vacuum Sweep and mop hard-surface floors as well as stairs and stairwells Perform routine floor care throughout assigned areas Follow established cleaning, safety, and infection-control procedures Report supply, equipment, or facility concerns to management Requirements Must be able and willing to wear and use a backpack vacuum Must be able to safely sweep and mop stairs Must be comfortable working in an active medical environment Dependable and consistent attendance Ability to work independently and complete assigned duties Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive physical cleaning tasks Ability to follow facility safety, security, and cleaning requirements
