Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Janitorial Supervisor CBS Building Maintenance, Inc - 5.0 Pontiac, MI Job Details Full-time $22 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description CBS Building Maintenance Inc. is seeking a dependable and experienced Traveling Janitorial Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations, support employees, and maintain quality standards across multiple locations. Position Details $22.00 per hour 30-35 hours per week $500 gas allowance Company phone and laptop provided Health insurance available after 90 days Additional income opportunities for floor-care projects Travel throughout Central Michigan, Ohio, and the Upper Peninsula Pennsylvania travel approximately once per quarter Ideal Candidate Location Candidates should be based in Central Michigan , preferably near one of our primary hubs: Flat Rock | Pontiac | Battle Creek Responsibilities Supervise and support janitorial employees Conduct regular site inspections Ensure CBS and client cleaning standards are met Train and coach employees Monitor attendance and performance Assist with hiring and onboarding Manage supply orders and inventory Submit payroll and required reports Address staffing and customer concerns Travel between locations to provide operational support Step in to perform cleaning duties when necessary Monthly and quarterly reports Qualifications Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience Supervisory experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable transportation and willingness to travel Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Comfortable using smartphones, computers, and reporting systems Floor-care experience is a plus but not required Floor-Care Experience Employees with floor-care experience may have opportunities for additional income performing stripping and waxing, buffing, scrubbing, refinishing, and other specialty floor-care services.
