Preva Kitchen is a daytime, delivery-first kitchen located inside Preva Entertainment in Redford Township. We serve fresh, made-to-order food to dine-in guests and delivery customers throughout Metro Detroit. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Team Member to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for our guests and staff. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize restrooms, dining areas, kitchen areas, and common spaces. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfaces throughout the facility. Empty trash and recycling containers. Restock cleaning products, paper supplies, soap, and other essentials. Clean windows, floors, high-touch surfaces, and shared areas. Follow company cleaning procedures and chemical-handling safety guidelines. Place warning signs around wet floors and other temporary hazards. Report maintenance, equipment, plumbing, or safety issues to the kitchen manager. Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning duties during and after service. Keep cleaning equipment and storage areas organized. Complete assigned cleaning tasks accurately and on time. Qualifications Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required. Training may be provided. Strong attention to detail. Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and dependable. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to manage time and complete tasks efficiently. Respectful and professional when working around guests and staff. Willingness to follow safety and cleaning procedures. Frequently bend, reach, lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Perform repetitive tasks such as sweeping, mopping, wiping, and vacuuming. Work around cleaning chemicals, wet floors, kitchen equipment, and changing temperatures. Safely operate basic cleaning tools and equipment. Benefits $14-$17 per hour, based on experience.
