Roseville, MI Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Hiring Recruiting Organizational skills Interviewing Time & attendance systems Full Job Description Overview Lead the TPG Project Team Specialists, a team trained in specialty floor care and project cleaning. Manage carpet extraction, stripping and waxing, scrubbing and recoating, scrubbing and buffing, power washing, window washing, and other assigned projects. Deliver quality results safely, on schedule, and within budget while managing staffing, employee performance, and project records.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train TPG Project Team Specialists. Manage performance reviews, coaching, discipline, and terminations in coordination with Human Resources. Create and maintain team schedules. Assign crews based on project scope, skills, site access, and deadlines; adjust staffing as priorities change. Plan each project with Operations, confirming scope, labor hours, supplies, equipment, and customer expectations. Communicate schedules, progress, and issues promptly. Train and oversee Specialists in floor care, carpet extraction, power washing, window washing, and other project services. Ensure proper methods, chemicals, and equipment are used for each surface. Hold Specialists accountable for attendance, productivity, workmanship, safety, and professional conduct. Inspect completed work, address deficiencies, and document corrective action. Review and correct Specialists' timecards in Aspire, verify hours and job assignments, and submit accurate records by payroll deadlines. Monitor overtime and project labor against budget. Create purchase receipts in Aspire and maintain supporting documentation for supplies, equipment, and approved purchases. Ensure crews have the materials needed to complete assigned work. Create, track, review, and close out project work tickets in Aspire. Verify completion, labor entries, and required documentation; resolve discrepancies with Operations and Accounting. Oversee equipment readiness, maintenance, and safe use. Reinforce chemical handling, protective equipment, and site safety requirements; report damage or service needs promptly.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in specialty floor care and project cleaning, including carpet extraction and hard-floor maintenance; experience with power washing and window washing preferred. Demonstrated ability to supervise crews, train employees, enforce standards, and manage multiple projects and changing schedules. Working knowledge of cleaning equipment, surface-appropriate chemicals, and safe work practices; ability to identify quality issues and direct corrective work. Strong organization, communication, and computer skills; proficiency in Aspire or the ability to learn scheduling, timecard, purchasing, and work-ticket processes.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Based at the Roseville main office with regular visits to client sites to direct crews and inspect work. Evening, overnight, and weekend work may be required to meet project schedules and customer needs. The Professional Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #
