A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Pay Range:
$17-$18 DOE Porter Responsibilities Maintain supply inventories and monitor the cleaning equipment and machinery for proper operation and maintenance. Perform cleaning on vehicles, using cleaning supplies and equipment e.g. brushes, scrapers, vacuums, solutions etc. Apply polishes, conditioners, waxes and/or masking materials to preserve, protect, and restore vehicle's interiors and exteriors. Inspect parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness and damage. Clean engine and engine compartments Delivers vehicles & assist shuttle driver as required. Thoroughly clean and maintain all vehicles. Monitor tire pressure of vehicles; add air and fuel as needed. Recognize general vehicle repairs and/or building maintenance and notify management. Maintain internal and external appearance and cleanliness of the store, showroom and lot. Run miscellaneous errands for the store.
Qualifications:
Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service Professional appearance and work ethic Effective interpersonal communication skills Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
