Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle various chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for yourself and others. Conduct sanitation tasks including trash removal, disinfecting surfaces, and maintaining hygiene standards across all spaces. Operate cleaning machinery and tools efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet extractors to maintain pristine conditions. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or residential painting to support overall facilities upkeep. Follow safety protocols diligently during heavy lifting or manual handling activities to prevent injuries and promote safe lifting practices. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to cleaning requests or concerns from staff or visitors, ensuring a positive experience. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and custodial equipment operation. Ability to handle chemical agents safely by adhering to chemical handling safety procedures. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while following safe lifting practices. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or painting is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety protocols adherence.
