Job Description

Our full-service restaurant, award-winning events spaces, and daily tours make for a lot of foot traffic and a lot of necessary upkeep. The Janitor is instrumental in restoring each space and making it shine for the next day's guests.
Basic Function:
Responsible for cleaning the building and keeping areas neat and tidy. All team members must uphold and embody Journeyman's Core Values which represent the culture, attitude, and immediate priorities ensuring our cohesion and success.CORE VALUES GRIT MAKES GREAT

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Gather and empty trash cans and maintain clean containers Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.) Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces Clean interior windows, exterior lower windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees Dust and clean furniture and walls Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Stock and maintain supply rooms; requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning Cooperate with the rest of the staff Follow all health and safety regulations Deep clean restroom, scrub floors, walls, tile, and partitions Deep clean floors (strip, clean, and seal floors) in designated areas Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors post-operational hours and verifying electronic equipment is turned off Perform any other tasks requested by management, the company, or the owner The above list of essential job functions describes the general nature and level of work being performed in this job.
