Job Overview:

Assisting the QC manager in daily responsibilities. The job focus is to work with both employees and customers to ensure the highest quality of cleaning. This would include such functions as assisting with new job start-ups and working with management on human resource issues and providing accurate and detailed information regarding client accounts. Additional duties may include, but are not limited to, filling in for daytime absences, assisting and contributing to day project work including construction cleaning.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct employees on the approved techniques and methodologies required by all janitorial staff ensuring a quality service.
• Provide instruction on the job cleaning specifications associated with a particular facility.
• Check that housekeeping closets are clean and stocked, as well as checking out the vacuum cleaners to ensure that they are working properly.
• Report on the progress of individual cleaners to the management team.
• Assist in the startup of new accounts by orientating new employees to specific facilities.
• Address specific client concerns through providing constant communication with staff to address and rectify the issues.
• Provide written documentation regarding inspection issues associated with individual cleaners.
• Travel to various accounts in company vehicles.
• Ability to perform basic janitorial duties on an as needed basis.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Ability to pass a police background check
• Communication skills required to instruct and communicate staff and customer base
• Ability to perform all cleaning techniques
• Valid Michigan Driver's License and clean driving record
• Drive in any weather conditions
• Ability to pick up 50 lbs.
• The ability to provide written reports and documentation
