What they do

A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Purpose:
Responsible for cleaning of specific areas of the plant and performing other maintenance-related activities.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure a clean & safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety programCleaning of restrooms, office areas, lunchroom, and other common areasEmptying of garbage containers and recycle bins as neededMaintain inventory of cleaning, toiletry, and lunch room suppliesEmpty, clean, refill mop buckets where applicablePromote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employeesWill be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
