Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Hood Cleaning Technician and play a vital role in maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of commercial kitchen exhaust systems. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and inspecting kitchen hoods, ducts, and related equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and enhance operational performance. Responsibilities Use ladders safely to access high exhaust hoods and ductwork for cleaning and inspection purposes Perform thorough cleaning of commercial kitchen hoods, filters, ducts, and grease traps using industrial cleaning tools and pressure washing equipment Handle heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to move equipment, parts, or debris efficiently and safely Apply proper safety protocols by wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, goggles, and fire extinguishers during all tasks Utilize hand tools and specialized cleaning equipment to remove grease buildup and ensure optimal airflow within duct systems Conduct outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards Follow strict safety procedures including the use of, ladder safety practices, and adherence to industry-specific safety protocols Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, inspections, and maintenance reports for client documentation Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about work performed and addressing any questions or concerns Experience Prior experience in industrial or commercial cleaning environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with ladder use, hand tools, pressure washing equipment, and duct cleaning techniques is advantageous Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and manual handling safely Outdoor work experience is a plus, especially in varying weather conditions Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence including PPE usage and fire extinguisher operation Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude in client interactions

Pay:
