A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Custodian - Day Full-Time 12 months/8 hrs/day Monday thru Friday -

Day Shift Duties:

Keep premises of school in clean and orderly condition; perform simple repairs to structure, furniture and equipment; other duties as assigned.

Rate of pay:

$20.30/hour to $21.50/hour based on step, license/position. View additional terms and benefits here. This assignment is open to transfer of Building Services employees from other assignments or from unassigned status.
