Custodian Eagan Hills Church Eagan, MN Job Details Part-time From $16.50 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Flexible schedule Qualifications Cleaning and sanitation procedure implementation Full Job Description Summary The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the Eagan Hills Church building. This position performs routine custodial duties and responds to the needs of staff and ministry leaders. Responsibilities The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the church building. Empty garbage and recycling and replace liners throughout the building, including kitchen. Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors, and other surfaces. Keep restrooms clean and stocked with supplies. Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors throughout the building, with particular attention to high-traffic areas. Vacuum sanctuary floors and straighten chairs as needed. Clean and maintain hallways, lobbies, and other common areas. Perform spot cleaning and other routine tasks to maintain a clean, welcoming facility. Check for and report maintenance or facility issues to the Operations Director. Assist with cleanup and resetting of spaces following Sunday, Wednesday, and other church activities. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum of two scheduled workdays per week, including cleaning following Sunday and Wednesday church activities. Flexibility to adjust workdays as needed to accommodate holidays, special events, and changes in the church calendar. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Ability to safely operate equipment and use cleaning products associated with custodial operations. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods while performing custodial duties. Ability to lift and carry supplies, trash bags, and other items weighing up to 30lbs independently, with assistance available for heavier items. Ability to safely push and pull cleaning equipment, including vacuums and mop buckets. Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks as needed. Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented. Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities. Affirm Scripture, the Eagan Hills Church Statement of Faith, and C&MA doctrine.
