Job Description

Description Performs cleaning, upkeep and sanitary duties to maintain the clinic environment and meet federal, state and local health codes and regulations at the Fairmont Clinic location. Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
No formal education is required. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS
(License, certification, registration): Required to complete training provided by Infection Prevention during orientation period; prior to working independently.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Basic computer skills (for email and online education purposes) Knowledge of and ability to follow all applicable safety and infection control standards. Physical stamina to complete required housekeeping duties Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated Knowledge of required maintenance and repair of tools and equipment used.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITY AREAS AND FUNCTIONS
Maintains the cleanliness, appearance and sanitation of all clinical areas of facility to promote a clean and safe environment. Maintains the cleanliness, appearance and sanitation of all non-clinical areas in facility to promote a clean and safe environment. Handles garbage and waste to promote a clean and safe facility.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
Monitors levels of supplies and reports to department supervisor when levels are low Monitors equipment for proper function and reports to department supervisor when repairs are indicated. Light maintenance of the clinic. Other duties as assigned.
EMPLOYMENT VARIABLES
Will be up to 8 hours per week with possibility to grow as clinic services expand. 6pm-8pm Mon-Thurs.
