Reports To The Facility Custodian will report to the Facility Maintenance Manager Job Overview The Facility Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the clean and sanitary conditions of the facilities offices, restrooms, lounges, break rooms, general production areas and building interiors. Minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks will be assigned by the Facility Maintenance Manager. Independent time management and task completion trust is the expectation with this position. Responsibilities and Duties Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building. Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and break rooms and offices. Cleaning and sanitizing grow areas. Maintains a neat and orderly janitors' room; ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked. Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and carpets. Operates and maintains a floor cleaning machine. Meet with supervisor to provide regular updates. Follows all required safety and standard operating procedures. Additional duties may be assigned as needed; applicants are expected to be flexible and have a willingness to adapt and learn new skills. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Performed all other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be 21 or over. Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Be punctual, professional, and reliable, manages time, priorities, and resources to achieve goals. Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work, and achieves results while adapting to changing business needs, conditions, and work responsibilities. Prior janitorial experience is preferred with knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Must have good communication skills and the ability to work with a team and individually and maintain a good attitude while taking constructive criticism and being trained to maintain quality standards and production goal. Experience with intensive labor work. Must be able to individually lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to work in a cultivation environment with moderate to loud noise levels, 80F temperatures, and bright indoor lighting. Plant allergens will be present in the air and on surfaces. PPE will be provided by the company. Must be able to stand constantly, walk frequently, and use various janitorial equipment. Must wear uniforms (scrubs), face masks, hair nets, gloves, safety glasses, and booties when required in grow and propagation areas. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer .
