What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
We are seeking dependable and flexible cleaners for short-term rental properties. As these properties are rented out for short stays, we need cleaners who can be available on short notice to clean and prepare the spaces between guest stays. This position requires a willingness to be on-call, with varying work hours based on guest check-ins and check-outs.
Duties:
Property Cleaning:
Clean and sanitize all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure a fresh and welcoming environment for each guest.Vacuuming & Mopping:
Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstery. Sweep and mop all hard surface floors.Dusting & Polishing:
Dust furniture, surfaces, and decorative items. Polish mirrors and glass surfaces.Linen & Laundry Service:
Strip beds and replace linens with fresh sheets. Launder towels and linens as necessary.Bathroom Cleaning:
Clean and disinfect toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, and all bathroom fixtures. Replenish toiletries (e.g., soap, shampoo, toilet paper).Kitchen Cleaning:
Clean and sanitize countertops, stovetops, ovens, refrigerators, and small appliances. Ensure dishes are washed, dried, and put away.Trash Removal:
Empty all trash bins and take trash to designated areas.Restocking Supplies:
Replenish essential items like paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, and other guest amenities.Final Inspection:
Perform a final inspection to ensure everything is in perfect condition for the next guest, reporting any maintenance issues or damages to management. Experience- Previous experience in custodial, commercial or residential cleaning preferred
