About Us We are a professional commercial cleaning company dedicated to providing high-quality janitorial services for commercial and municipal facilities. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming public spaces. Job Summary We are hiring a Janitor/Commercial Cleaner to maintain city-owned buildings and facilities. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining common areas, offices, restrooms, meeting rooms, and other public spaces. The ideal candidate is reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently while meeting high cleaning standards. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize offices, lobbies, hallways, and public areas Clean and disinfect restrooms; restock paper products and soap Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain all floor surfaces Empty trash and recycling containers; replace liners Dust furniture, desks, windowsills, and fixtures Clean interior glass, mirrors, doors, and touchpoints Maintain break rooms and common areas Follow detailed cleaning schedules and checklists Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to company procedures Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors Ensure facilities remain clean, secure, and presentable for employees and the public Qualifications Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required Reliable transportation Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and time management Dependable, punctual, and professional Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods Must be able to pass a background check and meet any requirements necessary to work in municipal facilities Schedule Part-time or full-time opportunities available Some weekend work may be required depending on facility needs Competitive pay Paid training Consistent work schedule Opportunities for advancement Supportive team environment All cleaning supplies and equipment provided What We're Looking For We value team members who are: Honest and dependable Self-motivated Detail-oriented Professional and respectful Committed to delivering high-quality work every shift If you're looking for stable work with a growing commercial cleaning company and enjoy creating clean, safe environments for the public, we'd love to hear from you.
