What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements of Cleaning Technicians:
Reliable transportation to and from the job site. Punctual, reliable, and committed. Detail-oriented and proud of your work. Able to follow verbal and written directions. Comfortable working independently in a building. Able to be on your feet for 3+ hours per shift. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
