A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. We're looking for someone who can work evenings/nights Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms and common areas Empty trash receptacles and replace liners Monitor and restock supplies as needed Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly Follow safety protocols and guidelines Must have and use safety-toed shoes; all other PPE will be provided

Qualifications:

Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required Attention to detail and a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and follow instructions Reliable and punctual Comfortable using basic cleaning equipment and chemicals The ability to lift up to 25 lbs Must be 18+ years old
