Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This vital role involves performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure all spaces are hygienic, well-organized, and meet safety standards. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility Handle chemical agents safely during cleaning processes, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums to maintain floors and surfaces in pristine condition Conduct sanitation of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health standards Assist with light maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups or minor repairs as needed Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and manual handling activities to prevent injuries Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial cleaning practices Skilled in handling chemical agents safely and understanding sanitation procedures Ability to operate floor buffers, scrubbers, and other cleaning machinery effectively Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting practices Excellent customer service skills to interact politely with staff and visitors when necessary Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Join us in creating a clean, safe environment that supports productivity and well-being!
