A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Full-time, year round 2nd shift Custodian at Shakopee High School and Sweeney Elementary School. 8 hours per day. 4.5 hours at Sweeney and 3.5 hours at the High School. 40 hours/week. Monday through Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm.

Pay & Benefits:

The starting pay is $21.45

22.89/hr based on experience plus a $.45 shift differential. A competitive benefit package is also available and includes the following

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Must have or be willing to get a boilers license. Previous custodial experience preferred. Ability to keep confidentiality.

Working Conditions:

Standing, sitting, lift up to 50 pounds, pulling, pushing, etc.
