This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Elementary School Custodian Responsibilities Sweep, mop, wet-wash, and vacuum floors in assigned areas Dust, clean, and polish furniture and fixtures Clean and disinfect restrooms to maintain a healthy environment Empty, clean, and sanitize waste containers Clean windows, blinds, glass surfaces, and showcases as assigned Clean light fixture covers Report vandalism, safety concerns, or security issues promptly Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Custodian Requirements for the Elementary School Custodian Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Comfortable working on ladders or raised surfaces Ability to follow directions and work independently Positive attitude and respectful communication skills Willingness to learn and safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check Why This Job Consistent full-time evening hours Competitive pay at $18.00 per hour Stable, school-based work environment Meaningful work supporting local students and families Apply online today or contact Penmac Staffing - Brainerd or Wadena Branch for more information.
