The Rest Area Supervisor (RAS) will be a cooperative team player responsible for the safety and welfare of all certified employees during scheduled shifts, breaks and lunches The RAS will provide guidance to certified employees serving as Rest Area Attendants performing daily cleaning of the rest area facilities along Interstate 70 in Boonville. The RAS will function as a role model for certified employees by demonstrating a positive attitude, cooperation, punctuality, initiative, responsibility and adherence to established agency policies and procedures of Unlimited Opportunities, Inc. along with the specifications of the contract between the Missouri Department of Transportation & RJA. Provide guidance to certified employees, monitor behavior and client interactions, and document daily activities of certified employees' cleaning and maintenance of the Rest Area facilities and grounds. Assist certified employees to maintain scheduled daily, monthly, and other periodic cleaning duties. Perform required cleaning and other scheduled maintenance functions during the hours not staffed by certified employees, including times of absence or employment vacancies. Transport rest area attendants and/or company property using company or private vehicles. Provide initial and ongoing training for Rest Area Attendants. Become proficient in operation of all Rest Area tasks at Boonslick Industries. Repair minor plumbing issues, unclog toilets, and notify contracted maintenance technician for escalated repairs as needed. Assist with ice & snow removal and other seasonal duties. Work rotating shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays and maintain flexibility to respond to changing shifts or overtime. Complete required quarterly, semi-annual, and annual vocational reviews and plans with certified employees. Maintain required MODOT and contractor-required daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance checklists. Attend all training provided by Boonslick Industries, Inc. including, but not limited to: First Aid/CPR, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Abuse and Neglect. Promote safety practices and procedures in all aspects of job duties, including, but not limited to: supervision of clients, program areas, transportation, community integration, lifting, and equipment. Required:

Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. Demonstrate ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Demonstrate ability to effectively train and guide employees. Possess a Class E license.
