In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks across commercial spaces. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to meet health standards and client expectations Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, floor care, and carpet cleaning. Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor scrubbers, and other janitorial tools effectively and safely Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as trash removal, outdoor surface cleaning, and maintaining entryway appearances Follow manual handling guidelines when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture to prevent injury Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and detergents; ensure proper storage and usage of cleaning chemicals Adhere to safety protocols related to the use of cleaning agents, equipment, and handling of materials Skills Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work, and extended periods of standing or walking Customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper application methods Experience in housekeeping management or residential housekeeping is advantageous Knowledge of outdoor work safety practices and outdoor surface maintenance Join us in creating clean, safe environments that make a difference every day!
