The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout the workday while supporting the daily needs of the building and its occupants. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently, maintain a high level of attention to detail, and respond promptly to cleaning and maintenance needs as they arise during the day. The facility houses important contract directors and administrative personnel, making professionalism, presentation, and consistency essential. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in office spaces, restrooms, break areas, common areas, and warehouse sections; monitoring supplies; addressing spills or unexpected issues; and ensuring the facility remains welcoming and operational throughout the shift. The ideal candidate must be capable of working an 8-hour shift on their feet, adapting to changing priorities, and taking pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and appearance at all times. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Assist with custodial duties including waste disposal and recycling management. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly. Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use. Bailing Cardboard for the Warehouse Follow safety protocols while cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe work environment. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met throughout the facility. Qualifications Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory. We are willing to train. Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing, is desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks. A positive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
