What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

ResponsibilitiesBusiness Office Clean and maintain offices, conference rooms, common areas, and employee spaces Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust Clean and sanitize restrooms Empty trash and recycling Clean windows, glass, mirrors, and other surfaces Restock paper products, soap, and other supplies Keep kitchens, break rooms, and common areas clean and organized Gym / Fitness Facility Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors Clean and sanitize restrooms and changing areas Empty trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility Keep the facility clean, fresh, and welcoming for members and guests Private Residence Perform general housekeeping and cleaning throughout the home Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop Clean kitchens and bathrooms Change linens and make beds as needed Empty trash Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy environment Perform occasional deep cleaning and special projects Additional Responsibilities Monitor cleaning and household supplies and communicate when items need to be reordered Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment Report equipment or facility issues Complete occasional deep-cleaning projects Help prepare spaces for meetings, guests, events, or special occasions Follow established cleaning checklists and quality standards Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion while working on the property Qualifications The ideal candidate is: Reliable- You show up when you say you will.
