Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on commercial spaces. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to enhance the appearance of surfaces. Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or necessary repairs to management. Execute industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Provide porter services by moving furniture or equipment as needed for events or maintenance activities. Carry out custodial duties efficiently while adhering to established cleaning schedules and protocols. Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective results while maintaining safety standards. Experience Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is advantageous. Experience in industrial cleaning environments is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
