A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Location:
This position will be located at the Missouri National Guard Armory, 1503 S. Jefferson Pkwy, Harrisonville, Missouri. Why you'll love this position: This position consists of maintaining the basic cleanliness of the Missouri National Guard's Harrisonville Armory. This is a part-time position with the flexibility of making your own hours. Responsibilities - What you'll do What you'll do: Prospective employee will do basic janitorial work consisting of vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, buffing and polishing floors, taking out trash, cleaning male and female restrooms, changing light bulbs, cleaning windows and wiping down walls. Perform groundskeeping duties, which include mowing, weed eating, bushhogging, edging, etc. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications - All you need for success All you need for success:
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Missouri Driver's License. Able to lift, load, or move items weighing 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of cleaning compounds, and their chemical effects on surfaces, materials, and textiles. Basic knowledge of care and cleaning of buildings Lack of post‐secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
