Conduct sanitation tasks including trash removal, surface disinfection, and restroom maintenance to uphold hygiene standards. Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture, supplies, or cleaning equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices. Operate cleaning equipment efficiently and safely, including vacuums, buffers, and other custodial tools. Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment during evening hours. Skills Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures. Strong understanding of floor care techniques including buffing floors. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely while following all safety protocol guidelines. Physical capability for manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on sanitation and cleanliness standards. Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude when interacting with staff.
