A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Role Purpose The Janitorial Agent is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout airport facilities, including terminals, restrooms, gate areas, offices, and public spaces. This role ensures a clean and welcoming environment for passengers, airport staff, and visitors while adhering to airport safety, security, and sanitation standards. What you will be doing Clean and sanitize airport terminal areas, including restrooms, seating areas, gates, hallways, and public spaces Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout assigned areas Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness standards Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and tissue Clean spills and respond promptly to cleanliness or safety hazards Maintain cleanliness of high-touch surfaces such as handrails, counters, and door handles Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or facility concerns to supervisors Support deep cleaning tasks as scheduled or assigned Follow all airport safety, security, and company policies Assist with cleaning support during high-traffic periods or special events Maintain professionalism while working in passenger-facing environments Perform other duties as requested
