Clay County is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Custodian I to help maintain County buildings, offices, facilities, vehicles, and grounds in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday for a four hour shift between 5:00 pm - 1:30 am at an hourly salary of $18.08. Key Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and restroom sanitation Empty trash and restock custodial supplies Clean offices, courtrooms, common areas, windows, and fixtures Operate custodial equipment and maintain cleaning supplies Assist with grounds upkeep and snow removal as needed Secure County buildings by locking/unlocking doors and managing lights Complete special cleaning and maintenance projects as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle Ability to perform the physical duties associated with custodial work Ability to work independently and follow established safety procedures Join Clay County and help us provide clean, safe, and welcoming facilities for our employees and community.
